Il concorso Car Design News 2008 è il primo concorso internazionale di Design Digitale di Automobili al mondo
LONDRA, 4 gennaio 2008. Car Design News ha annunciato oggi il maggiore concorso al mondo di design completamente digitale di automobili, in associazione con SABIC Innovative Plastics e con il supporto della tecnologia Autodesk. Il concorso Car Design News 2008 sarà giudicato dai direttori esecutivi del design delle più importanti case automobilistiche, tra i quali segnaliamo Martin Smith, vicepresidente esecutivo del design di Ford Europa, Asia-Pacifico e Africa, e Shiro Nakamura, vicepresidente esecutivo e responsabile del design di Nissan. Si tratta di un concorso unico nel suo genere in quanto tutti i design saranno creati come modelli digitali virtuali. Il concorso si divide in due categorie, designer professionisti e designer studenti; i primi premi in palio includono una somma in denaro e una licenza per il software Alias DesignStudio.

Office Depot entrusts European mail distribution to Spring Global Mail
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 11 December 2007 – Office Depot, one of the world’s largest sellers of office products, has chosen Spring Global Mail as its sole supplier for European mail distribution. The contract, worth EUR 180 million over a three year period, will see Spring managing the distribution of 175 million catalogues each year across ten European countries.
