Il nuovo grado BA110CF consente di ottenere pellicole dalle prestazioni superiori rispetto ai prodotti standard. La sua innovativa progettazione offre una soluzione monofilm idonea per qualsiasi processo di siliconatura. Ne conseguono minori costi di produzione da parte dei produttori di imballaggi, in quanto viene meno la necessità di utilizzare film diversi in funzione del processo di siliconatura richiesto per un particolare prodotto finale.

FAVORABLE RULING IN PATENT LAWSUIT FOR DSM DYNEEMA

LEADING CANADIAN SALMON FARMER SELECTS NETS WITH DYNEEMA®
DSM Dyneema is pleased to announce that GMG, the manufacturing division of Cooke Aquaculture, a Canadian leader in salmon farming, has selected nets made with ultra-strong Dyneema® fiber to support the company’s expansion into the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador. Cooke’s Cold Ocean Salmon division has ordered mesh for twenty 150m containment nets made with Dyneema®, manufactured by Badinotti (Italy). The nets, which will be constructed in Canada by GMG, feature the exceptionally strong, lightweight Dyneema® fiber, which makes them easier to handle, prevents fish escapes and extends net life.

Dec. 15 2006 Shanghai, China -- Wutai Moutain Xiantong Pagoda is one of the most important Buddhist site in China,while its 5 ancient pagodas have lost the surface luster with age. Hence in September 2006 the travel administration department operated a reparation project, to which the key is gold foil painting on the pagoda surface. To ensure the firm fixation of gold foil with high glitter performance, PPG’s etching primer coatings was chosen for rust resistance, and specialized varnish was chosen to protect the surface of pagodas safter fully painted by the pure gold foil.

Construction of Songwon new world-scale antioxidant plant is ahead of schedule
Ulsan, Korea, January 16, 2007 – Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd. announced today that the construction of its second dedicated manufacturing site for the production of phenolic and phosphite antioxidants is ahead of schedule and the plant start-up is now set for April 2007. Consistent with Songwon’s manufacturing strategy to provide economy of scale and security of supply, the project includes the back integration of key raw materials. In the first phase, this new manufacturing site will increase the Songwon capacity to about 55.000 tons, a 60% increase over the current capability. A second phase of expansion is already planned to bring total capacity to 80.000 tons and will be implemented as soon as the market demand will justify it.
