DSM Dyneema Files Patent Lawsuit against Chinese Company
Urmond (NL), January 16 – DSM Dyneema, the inventor and manufacturer of Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fiber, has filed a patent-infringement lawsuit against Hangzhou Pivot International Co. Ltd., of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, before the Court of Paris, France. Prior to the filing, DSM Dyneema obtained authorization to seize merchandise, including fiber, rope and finished articles, exhibited by Hangzhou Pivot at the Milipol 2005 exhibition on state security in Paris.

Il produttore di articoli elettronici Tyco Amp Den Bosch è passato dai Polimeri a Cristalli Liquidi (LCP) alla poliammide 4,6 (PA46) Stanyl® per il materiale impiegato nello stampaggio degli alloggiamenti per le schede PCMCIA (schede PC); ha potuto così ridurre i costi globali, ottenere un materiale con proprietà meccaniche migliori e con un bassissimo svergolamento. Il grado Stanyl 46HF 5040, formulazione high-flow, presenta una fluidità simile a quella dei Polimeri a Cristalli Liquidi e consente pertanto uno stampaggio rapido dei minuscoli elementi dell’alloggiamento, migliorando allo stesso tempo le proprietà meccaniche, quantomai necessarie.
