As of June 1st, 2005, RW Greeff, a dedicated supplier of industrial consumables and a division of Univar NV, one of the world’s largest independent distributors of chemicals and related products and services, has acquired the business and assets of Industrial Solutions Ltd of Bangor, Northern Ireland.

Univar Benelux helps Radson to develop a state of the art ecological solution in radiator testing
Rotterdam / Brussels / Zonhoven, 21 June, 2005 - Radson NV, a market leader in the production of domestic radiators, decorative radiators and floor heating systems, has developed a state of the art, ecological sound means of testing products in its manufacturing facility at the company headquarters in Zonhoven, Belgium. By using ultra-filtration (UF) technology from Orelis, in combination with SurTec 533, a low-nitrogen flash rust preventative supplied by Univar, Radson has dramatically reduced the consumption of chemicals and process water during product testing.

BERGEN OP ZOOM, PAESI BASSI - 18 maggio 2005 - GE Advanced Materials ha presentato tre nuove resine di policarbonati (PC) biocompatibili che ampliano ulteriormente il già ricco portafoglio di soluzioni con materiali high-tech per applicazioni nel settore sanitario di cui dispone. Le resine Lexan* HPX8R, Lexan HPX4 e Lexan HP1HF vantano tutte eccellenti caratteristiche di resistenza, qualità meccanica e trasparenza che le accomunano agli altri prodotti della famiglia di resine Lexan PC. A questi materiali più recenti, tuttavia, va anche ascritto un ulteriore miglioramento in termini di fluidità e duttilità, nonché resistenza ancora maggiore all'impatto e alla sterilizzazione in autoclave.
