Strategies in China
Brussels December 21st, ECMSA (European Chemical Marketing and Strategy Association) and CWD (Chemical World Database) announced that they will run a one day conference in Brussels on March 15th 2005 to explore the chemical industry’s experiences of China. Focusing on the actual experience of those businesses that have ridden the China investment boom and the prospects for consumer driven demand for chemicals the conference will set out to explore the pro’s and con’s associated with investment in China. The conference will be held under the auspices of CEFIC and with the support of the VCI. This event is being organised by the chemical industry for the chemical industry.

Stanyl® TE250F6 di DSM Engineering Plastics, una poliammide 46 (PA46) rinforzata con il 30% di fibre di vetro e resistente alle alte temperature, è il materiale scelto per la combinazione interruttore/luce ed attuatore della Macchina per Caffè espresso Bodum. Dietro la fascia decorativa, un dispositivo termostatico attiva un’asticella che controlla la levetta di rotazione del sistema di controllo di riscaldamento dell'acqua della macchina da caffè Strix U44, saldato alla base dell’apparecchio. Poiché la levetta di azionamento in Stanyl è collocata necessariamente vicino alla fonte di calore della macchina da caffè, il design ha sfruttato le proprietà meccaniche di questo materiale. Queste includono un’elevata resistività elettrica di superficie e volumetrica, rigidità e resistenza a temperature fino a 140 gradi, resistenza alla fatica e stampabilità.
