GREAT LAKES INCREASES PRICE FOR DECABROMODIPHENYLOXIDE FLAME RETARDANT
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA—Great Lakes Chemical Corporation (NYSE:GLK) today announced that it is increasing off list prices for Great Lakes DE-83™ (decabromodiphenyloxide) flame retardant by $0.20/kg worldwide with all shipments effective November 1, 2004, where contracts allow.

Notevole interesse da parte del pubblico al salone IAA di Hannover per le soluzioni Dureal™ della Univar

Repsol YPF ha annunciato che la sua Chemicals Division ha firmato un accordo con Borealis A/S per acquistare Borealis Polímeros Lda., che include tutte le attività del complesso petrolchimico di Sines, Portogallo.
