£3 MILLION INVESTMENT IN TRAFFORD PARK COMPANY Great Lakes Manufacturing (UK) Ltd. is located at Tenax Road, Trafford Park. The site was established in 1939 as ‘The Geigy Colour Company’. In the last 30 years ownership has passed from Ciba Geigy to the US owned FMC Corporation, before acquisition by Great Lakes in 1999.

(Photo Distrupol DISTPR031E0503) Allgood, the UK’s leading architectural ironmonger, is introducing the building industry’s first door latch featuring an all-plastic operating mechanism. The latch relies exclusively on four grades of engineering polymers, manufactured by DuPont and distributed in the UK by Distrupol. It uses three Zytel® nylon resins and one Delrin® acetal resin, with only the outer casing being made of metal. Lutterworth based Dudley Associates produced the mouldings for the latch.
