Silbo upgrades all its pallet wrapping to paper with Mondi
Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, has collaborated with Silbo to upgrade its pallet wrapping from plastic stretch film to Mondi’s kraft paper Advantage StretchWrap. Silbo has installed the first EW Technology PaperWrap machine at its plant in Żory, Poland and provides more sustainable flexible packaging for its broad range of customers, including those supplying fruits and vegetables.

SABIC and Solarge showcase development and commercialization of lightweight, circular solar panels
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, has participated in the successful development of lightweight, circular photovoltaic (PV) panels in conjunction with Solarge, an innovative manufacturer of circular lightweight solar panels. This collaboration was showcased during the opening event of Solarge’s new production facility in Weert, The Netherlands on 22nd May. Representatives from SABIC and Solarge, along with other industry leaders, attended the ceremony that was also attended by Rob Jetten, Dutch Minister for Climate & Energy, and Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy.

Solvay lance le nouveau KetaSpire® PEEK pour l'isolation monocouche des fils magnétiques des moteurs électriques
Solvay, un leader mondial des matériaux de spécialité, a annoncé le lancement de KetaSpire® KT-857, un nouveau grade d'extrusion de polyétheréthercétone (PEEK) conçu spécialement pour l'isolation des fils magnétiques en cuivre dans les moteurs électriques. Le développement de ce matériau d'isolation a été motivé par l'évolution des équipementiers vers des batteries à plus haute densité et des groupes motopropulseurs électriques fonctionnant à 800 V ou plus, afin de répondre à l'anxiété des consommateurs en matière d'autonomie.
