Clariant showcases anti-pollution solutions for personal care market in China
Clariant, a world-leader in specialty chemicals, will further advance its leading position in the personal care ingredient market by highlighting its powerful anti-pollution solutions during the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) exhibition, to be held at the Shanghai World Expo and Convention Center on March 19-21, 2018. The anti-pollution solutions to be showcased include the newly launched Aristoflex Silk, under Clariant’s Aristoflex range of rheology modifiers, and Eosidin™, which tackles pollution in the indoor environment.

EconCore presents latest developments in continuous production of high performance thermoplastic honeycombs for composites at JEC World 2018
EconCore is extending the capabilities of its innovative ThermHex technology for production of high-performance lightweight thermoplastic honeycomb core materials and sandwich panels. The company, which already licenses the technology for production of polypropylene honeycombs, is now able to produce honeycombs from high performance thermoplastics (HPT). A further development enables the integrated production of Organosandwich preforms with continuous fibre-reinforced skins.

SABIC showcases disruptive innovation in thermoplastic composite materials and manufacturing at JEC World 2018
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, is featuring here at JEC World 2018, several new breakthrough innovations in materials and manufacturing designed to drive broader adoption of strong, lightweight thermoplastic composites across the automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics and energy industries. Le détecteur de Mammut dans un design TPE/PA novateur bi composants
La société Mammut Sports Group basée en Suisse a considérablement renforcé son offre d’appareils de détection pour les sportifs victimes d’avalanche. La gamme inclut dorénavant deux détecteurs Barryvox® (émetteur-récepteur) avec des caractéristiques techniques et structurelles optimisées, dont un joint d’étanchéité et des éléments de boîtier moulés par injection en utilisant un procédé bi composants à partir de polyamide et d’élastomère thermoplastique (TPE). Un compound de KRAIBURG TPE est utilisé à cet effet. Il se caractérise par une adhérence exceptionnelle sur les polyamides (PA) ainsi qu’une excellente étanchéité, et apporte donc une grande fiabilité de fonctionnement pour cet appareil de sauvetage.

Organized by the CCPIT Sub-council of Chemical Industry, the CAC exhibition to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on 7-9 March 2018 is one of the biggest agrochemical exhibitions in the world today.
