Guardian Glass valide les dépenses pour la conception technique d’un site supplémentaire de fabrication de verre float en Pologne
Bertrange (Luxembourg), 14 mars 2017 – Guardian Glass dépense 1,5 million de dollars pour la conception technique détaillées et des études de chantier en vue de la création éventuelle d’un second site de fabrication de verre float en Pologne. Aujourd’hui, Guardian Glass exploite un site de fabrication de verre float à Czestochowa en Pologne. L’entreprise envisage d’augmenter sa capacité de production avec l’ouverture d’un second site afin de répondre à la demande croissante de ses clients en produits verriers manufacturés et à couche destinés aux applications commerciales et résidentielles. Ces premières dépenses en travaux de conception technique sont censées accélérer la construction d’une nouvelle usine qui pourrait être opérationnelle au cours du premier trimestre 2019. Le lieu exact est encore à l’étude.

Perstorp sells its Belgian site with its coating additives activities to Synthomer plc
Perstorp March 6, 2017 - The specialty chemicals innovator and supplier Perstorp (Perstorp Holding AB) today announces the sale of its additives activities primarily serving the paints and coatings industry produced at its facility at Gent Belgium, Perstorp Belgium (Perstorp Oxo Belgium AB) to Synthomer (Synthomer plc). The total consideration for the sale is €78 million (subject to certain adjustments). The divestment is in line with Perstorp’s strategy to focus on and expand its core chemicals activities.
