Cool, lubricated and smell-free machining

Henkel launches integration program for refugees
Henkel is starting an extensive refugee’s integration program in its vocational training center. In collaboration with external partners and public authorities, the company is offering career guidance and job shadowing as well as internships, language courses and coachings for the refugees. The aim is to promote the integration of people with prospects of staying in Germany permanently.

Avery Dennison va acquérir Mactac Europe
GLENDALE, CA — 27 avril 2016 — Avery Dennison (NYSE:AVY) a annoncé aujourd’hui un accord définitif visant à acquérir les activités européennes de Mactac auprès de Platinum Equity, un fonds d’investissement privé basé en Californie, pour un prix d’achat de 200 millions d’euros, en ce compris les dettes opérationnelles et sociales. Avec un chiffre d’affaires normalisé de 147 millions d’euros, soit environ 170 millions de dollars à la fin de l’exercice 2015, et quelque 470 employés, l’entreprise est un fabricant majeur de produits auto-adhésifs de qualité supérieure, destinés à des segments de marché à haute valeur comme les produits graphiques, les étiquettes de spécialités et les tapes industriels. Les gammes de produits principales de Mactac sont complémentaires au portefeuille actuel de produits graphiques d’Avery Dennison.
