Clariant Signs Cooperation Agreement to Implement SNG Plant and Catalysts in China
Muttenz, June 13, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, today announced that it has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Wison Engineering Ltd and a subsidiary in Foster Wheeler's Global Engineering and Construction Group, to equip a pilot plant for demonstration of Foster Wheeler's VESTA substitute natural gas (SNG) technology with catalysts of Clariant. The pilot plant will be constructed in China and is planned to go on-stream during 2013.

SITTARD, Pays-Bas, 11 Juin 2013 - Les entreprises de la chaîne d'emballage alimentaire qui utilisent des polyoléfines (polyéthylènes et polypropylènes) ont maintenant accès aux nouvelles déclarations de conformité et de sécurité alimentaire de SABIC. SABIC est l'un des premiers producteurs européens de matières plastiques alimentaires à avoir mis à jour toutes ses déclarations de conformité relatives au contact alimentaire, conformément aux modifications apportées aux réglementations de l’Union européenne, trois ans avant le délai imposé de 2016. Ces modifications visent à renforcer la sécurité des aliments emballés. SABIC a dû retester tous ses matériaux d'emballage à base de polyoléfines afin d'assurer leur conformité aux nouvelles conditions de test. SABIC fournit des centaines de déclarations de conformité relatives au contrat alimentaire pour son portefeuille de polyoléfines européen dans le cadre d'un important service pour ses clients.
