Clariant Oil Services to Acquire Champion Technologies' Deep Water Gulf of Mexico Assets
Muttenz, April 15, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, has announced today that it signed an agreement with Ecolab Inc. to acquire certain of its deep water Gulf of Mexico assets. The divestment of the assets by Ecolab was a prerequisite by the U.S. Department of Justice for the approval of the acquisition of Champion Technologies. Financial details of the acquisition are not being disclosed.

PARIS - le 3 avril 2013 - La division Power Conversion de GE démontre qu’elle sait être un partenaire idéal pour les constructeurs et les opérateurs de navires et installations de forage semi-submersibles. Au cours de ces douze derniers mois, GE a remporté des contrats évalués à plus de 600 millions de dollars US et portant sur la fourniture de systèmes de propulsion à des clients qui gèrent le développement de l’exploitation des champs de pétrole pré-salins au large de la côte orientale du Brésil. Les systèmes de GE permettront d’alimenter, de propulser, de faire naviguer, de positionner et de contrôler des navires de forage, ainsi que d’alimenter et de contrôler le processus de forage lui même.
