SABIC développe son portefeuille Polycarbonate Lexan* en ajoutant de nouveaux matériaux pour l'électronique grand public, l’électroménager et l'éclairage LED
ORLANDO, Floride (USA) – 3 avril 2012 – À l'occasion du salon NPE (salon international de la plasturgie) 2012 (stand n° 29000), la division commerciale Innovative Plastics de SABIC a annoncé d'importants ajouts dans son portefeuille phare de matériaux en polycarbonate (PC) Lexan* : un copolymère à résistance au feu Lexan et trois nouvelles gammes de résines Lexan LUX. Le copolymère à résistance au feu Lexan répond à la demande croissante des fabricants de produits électroniques grand public et d'appareils électroménager pour des matériaux transparents et résistant au feu ; les nouvelles résines Lexan LUX offrent une excellente solution pour les applications à diodes électroluminescentes (LED) comme les guides de lumière et les lentilles optiques. Ces nouveaux matériaux en PC Lexan démontrent l'investissement continu de SABIC dans les technologies, l'expertise technique et l'étendue du portefeuille des produits. Ils soulignent également comment la société SABIC continue à améliorer la performance du polycarbonate pour répondre au respect de l'environnement, aux besoins de haute performance, d'esthétique et aux exigences réglementaires des clients.
