Clariant wins $20m contract for China oil field integrated services
September 7, 2009 - Clariant Oil Services, a division of Clariant Chemical (China) Ltd, has been awarded a three-year contract by ConocoPhillips China Ltd to provide a range of integrated services for its operations at the Peng Lai 19-3 oil field at Bohai Bay in northern China.

Clariant sells specialty silicones business to affiliate of GenNx360 Capital Partners
CHARLOTTE, N.C., August 31, 2009 - Clariant has sold its specialty silicones business, including its Gainesville Florida facility, to SiVance LLC, an affiliate of New York-based GenNx360 Capital Partners. GenNx360 is a private equity firm focused on industrial business-to-business companies.`Financial terms of the transaction, which is effective September 1, were not disclosed.

BERGEN OP ZOOM, Pays-Bas – 27 août 2009 – Vestel White Goods a choisi la résine Noryl* NH6020 ignifugée de SABIC Innovative Plastics, qui est conforme aux nouvelles exigences plus strictes de la norme 60355 de l’International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) relative aux appareils sans surveillance, pour garantir la compétitivité de ses machines à laver sur le plan mondial. Vestel, l’un des plus grands fabricants turcs d’appareils électroménagers, a remplacé un polyamide ignifugé halogéné par la résine Noryl NH6020 pour les supports de cartes de circuit imprimé afin de répondre aux nouvelles exigences de l’IEC sans avoir recours à des agents ignifugeants chlorés ou bromés. En outre, l’utilisation de ce matériau innovant permet à Vestel d’améliorer la qualité de ses pièces et de réduire les rebuts afin de diminuer les coûts système. En obtenant de façon proactive la certification de l’IEC et en garantissant des propriétés ignifugeantes sans halogènes, SABIC Innovative Plastics aide les clients comme Vestel à obtenir un avantage concurrentiel et à bénéficier de l’occasion de se développer sur de nouveaux marchés.

(NYSE: MOG.A et MOG.B) a fourni un banc d'essai au Korean Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) qui réalisera une vaste gamme de tests structurels statiques et des tests de fatigue sur des hélicoptères.
