Arkema at K 2007 Exhibition – Hall 6 / Stand C57
Arkema will be exhibiting at the K2007 trade fair with all its plastics activities: PVC, PMMA, Technical Polymers, and Functional Additives. K2007 will give Arkema the opportunity to showcase new applications in PMMA, in particular for flat television screens, and new developments in Technical Polymers, in particular in Rilsan® and Pebax® product ranges.

GE Plastics dévoile son centre d'excellence de vitrage automobile
BERGEN OP ZOOM, PAYS-BAS — 5 juin 2007 — C'est ici que GE Plastics a ouvert aujourd'hui son premier centre d'excellence de vitrage automobile. Ce nouveau site vise à aider les clients du monde entier à créer, dessiner et mouler des applications de vitrage automobile innovantes en utilisant les résines polycarbonate (PC) Lexan* GLX de GE qui apportent un progrès au niveau écologique , ainsi que d'autres matières techniques. En tant que l'un des centres GApT (Global Application Technology) de la société, le centre d'excellence de vitrage automobile abrite des équipements et des technologies de Krauss Maffei et Summerer Technologies.

Borealis sells its petrochemical business in Norway to Ineos
• Sale of Norwegian polyolefins business and share in Noretyl gas cracker to Ineos
• Creation of independent innovation company
• Group support functions remain in Norway as a separate unit
Continuing with the restructuring of its Norwegian operations, Borealis AS announces that it has reached an agreement to sell its petrochemical business in Bamble, Norway, to Ineos for EUR 290 million. It has also been decided to create a new independent innovation company to take over its innovation centre in Bamble and to retain the existing group support functions at the location as a separate unit.
