GE Plastics Bergen op Zoom viert 30 jaar Technology als gastheer van Nationale Scheikunde Olympiade
BERGEN OP ZOOM, NEDERLAND — 30 mei 2007 — Ter gelegenheid van het dertigjarig bestaan van de Technology afdeling op de locatie Bergen op Zoom is GE Plastics dit jaar gastheer van de 28e Nationale Scheikunde Olympiade van 6 tot 13 juni 2007.
De Internationale Chemie Olympiade is een jaarlijks terugkerend evenement, dat later dit jaar in Moskou zal plaatsvinden. De vier beste Nederlandse vwo-leerlingen mogen naar de internationale ronde in Moskou afreizen. Om deze vier plaatsen wordt gestreden in de nationale wedstrijd, waarvan GE Plastics dit jaar gastheer is. Tot nu toe hebben 1200 leerlingen uit heel Nederland het al in de eerste en tweede ronde tegen elkaar opgenomen. De 20 beste leerlingen uit deze ronden mogen in de landelijke wedstrijd in Bergen op Zoom om een top vier plaats strijden.

Le grade de polypropylène ISBM PP conçu pour offrir des caractéristiques de conception d’emballage différenciées
Borealis, chef de file des solutions novatrices et créatrices de valeur dans le domaine des plastiques, a conçu et développé un garde de polypropylène utilisé pour la production par injection etirage-soufflage à bi étirage (PP ISBM) : le Borclear™ RF926MO. Le but est d’apporter plus de flexibilité dans la conception de solutions d’emballage tout en assurant une mise en œuvre et une productivité accrue.
L'excellente position de Borclear RF926MO dans le segment de marché florissant du PP ISBM se voit encore davantage consolidée par une gamme de température de travail trois plus élevée lors de la délicate injection-soufflage à bi-étirage que dans la passé. Il est ainsi possible d'obtenir des durées de cycles réduites et une répartition plus harmonieuse des épaisseurs de parois ce qui contribue à une meilleure homogénéité du flacon. Cela permet également de créer une plus-value en augmentant la flexibilité de la conception, en travaillant avec des formes plus complexes et variées et possédant des gravures de très haut niveau de finition.

Rohm and Haas Says 50% of 2007 R&D Budget Allocated To Sustainability Improvements

CHEMTURA INCREASES METALLIC STEARATES PRICES
