Distrupol delivers DSM’s Sarlink® TPV resin for tough Audi under-bonnet application

A demonstration of this has been its successful partnering with UK automotive moulder, P&D Manufacturing in the development of an under- bonnet heat shield in thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) resin for the Audi A4 and Audi A6 models.

Rhodia Polyamide announces price rise for its STABAMID® Polyamide 66 resins to address unprecedented level of energy and raw materials costs
Lyon, France, January 4, 2006 – Rhodia Polyamide has announced a price increase for its STABAMID® Polyamide 66, effective immediately. STABAMID® prices will rise in Europe by 100 € / MT and in Asia by 120 USD / MT. This necessary price adjustment results from the unprecedented high level of costs for energy, particularly gas, as well as for raw materials such as Benzene, Cyclohexane and Ammoniac.

Rhodia Polyamide announces price increase for Adipic Acid to counterbalance steep rise in energy (gas) and raw material costs (Benzene, Cyclohexane and Ammoniac)
Lyon, France, January 4, 2006 – Rhodia Polyamide has announced a price rise for Adipic Acid effective immediately. The new price reflects an increase of 130 € / MT in Europe and 150 USD / MT in Asia. Underlying this need for price adjustment is the unprecedented rise in the costs of energy, particularly gas, and raw materials such as Benzene, Cyclohexane and Ammoniac.

GRACE A UN JOINT EN ELASTOMERE THERMOPLASTIQUE ARNITEL® DE DSM ENGINEERING PLASTICS, LE « DIAPER CHAMP » REND LES FOYERS ET LA PLANETE PLUS HABITABLES.
« Diaper Champ », le seau pour couches usagées innovant et inodore de Garland BV (Amsterdam, Pays-Bas) a été récemment reconçu avec des joints fabriqués en Arnitel®, un élastomère de copolyester thermoplastique de DSM Engineering Plastics. En liaison avec le mouvement inverse d’un piston au moment de la mise au rebut de la couche usagée, ces joints évitent au Diaper Champ de diffuser les mauvaises odeurs dans la pièce où il se trouve. La souplesse durable de l’Arnitel, associée à sa résistance élevée à l’abrasion, contribue à maintenir une très bonne étanchéité pendant toute la durée de vie du seau. Disponible dans le monde entier, le Diaper Champ est un élément important dans le contexte de plus en plus actuel de la valorisation du recyclage des matériaux qui entrent dans la composition des couches pour bébés et des protections d’incontinence.

Spring wins the TNT Master 'Feed the Hungry' Award
