ISP announces European market launch of new anti-inflammatory ingredient Vital ET™
International Specialty Products (ISP), a world-leading supplier of specialty ingredients for the cosmetics industry, has launched a new anti-erythemal and anti-inflammatory ingredient into the European market. This latest innovation from the company, Vital ET™, is a unique bio-functional form of vitamin E developed for use in the formulation of skin treatment products for the personal care sector. OWENS CORNING ANNOUNCES MAJOR CAPITAL INVESTMENT TO ADD GLASS FABRIC KNITTING PRODUCTION AT TALOJA INDIA PLANT
Toledo, Ohio, U.S.A. February 18, 2004 – Owens Corning announced today that it will add glass fiber knitting capability at the Taloja, India, plant of Owens Corning India Limited (OCIL), a joint venture between Owens Corning, USA and Mahindra & Mahindra, India. The investment adds fabric knitting to the plant’s existing glass roving operations, to supply growing market demand in India and surrounding regions, especially for the wind energy market. India is currently the fifth largest country in the world in terms of installed capacity of wind mills.

3.000ième TM pour une histoire à success en Slovénie
Plastika Skaza et Battenfeld Injection Molding ont pu fêter un jubilée particulier précisément à Velenje par la remise officielle de la 3.000ième presse à injec-tion de la série TM. Velenje, un peu plus de trente mille habitants, est le centre de la vallée de la Šalek-Tal et se trouve au nord-ost de Ljubljana, la capitale de la Slovénie. C'est ici à Velenje que la société Plastika Skaza, devenue entre-temps la plus grande usine de travail à façon de Slovénie a son siège depuis 1975. Après de modestes débuts, l'entreprise ne fit que croître depuis 1985 et aujourd’hui, avec 41 presses à injection – dont 35 de la maison Battenfeld – elle fabrique pour des entreprises telles que Gorenje, Ikea et Grammer.

Honeywell Chemicals strengthens customer support for blowing agents in Europe
