El nuevo masterbatch de aditivo Clariant CESA®-IR está ahora disponible para hacer que los plásticos de color oscuro sean visibles ante los sensores de infrarrojo cercano (near-infrared “NIR” por sus siglas en inglés) utilizados en los sistemas automatizados de clasificación de polímeros. Ya que muchas compañías utilizan empaques negros para dar estilo a sus productos más prestigiosos, han surgido problemas en los sistemas de detección de polímeros, derivando en la solicitud de dejar fuera de la paleta de colores aplicables al negro. Los nuevos masterbatches de aditivos ayudan a resolver ese inconveniente, permitiendo tasas de reciclaje mayores.

Clariant making its Additives fit for reuse, halogen-free flame retardant allowing re- and up-cycling of PA6 & PA66
As announced end June, Clariant is taking action to tackle the challenge of plastic pollution with new solutions and proactive steps to create a more sustainable plastics industry through a “Symphony of Collaboration”. Clariant is supporting the industry with environmentally-compatible solutions and in designing materials and products which are easier to separate, recover, and reuse. Successful startup of world’s largest dehydrogenation plant using Clariant’s CATOFIN® catalyst technology
Clariant announced the successful startup of its CATOFIN catalyst at Hengli Group’s new mixed-feed dehydrogenation plant in Dalian, China. The new unit combines propane dehydrogenation (PDH) with iso-butane dehydrogenation (BDH) process technologies, and it will produce over 1 million tons of olefins per year -- becoming the world’s largest plant using CATOFIN catalyst technology.
