Clariant earns cosmetics-ingredients certification from U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
Charlotte, February 19, 2015 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announced that it has received ISO 22716 certification for all U.S. cosmetics-ingredients sites from the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, College Park, Md. These products are used in Clariant’s Personal Care product lines.

Clariant delivers strong growth and improves its operating margins in an adverse environment in 2014
“In 2014 Clariant grew above average once more, even though the economic environment was challenging and characterized by a continued lack of growth in Europe. Clariant increased its sales particularly in attractive high-margin markets, and was again able to improve its profitability, though some parts of the progress were masked by a negative currency effect,” said CEO Hariolf Kottmann.

Change in the Board of Directors of Clariant
Muttenz, February 17, 2015 - At the 20th Annual General Meeting of Clariant Ltd on March 31, 2015, Dr. Dolf Stockhausen will step down from Clariant's Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will propose the election of Mrs. Susanne Wamsler as his successor and thus continuing the representation of the former family shareholders of Süd-Chemie AG in Clariant.
