DSM launches Stanyl ForTii T11 for high performance halogen-free terminal blocks
Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences Company, is introducing Stanyl® ForTii™ T11, an innovative high temperature polyamide 4T delivering UL94-V0 flame retardancy combined with outstanding thermal and mechanical performance. This halogen free material has been designed to meet the stringent regulations and high performance requirements for printed circuit board (PCB) terminal blocks that are mounted using surface mount technology (SMT).

Rob Duchateau gana el premio DPI Invention Award 2013
SITTARD, Países Bajos, 27 de junio de 2013 - El 20 de junio de 2013, Rob Duchateau (47), Director Científico de SABIC y Profesor Asociado a tiempo parcial de la Universidad Técnica de Eindhoven (Países Bajos), recibió el galardón DPI Invention Award 2013. Jacques Joosten, del Instituto Holandés de Polímeros (DPI), le hizo entrega del premio durante la conferencia bianual de la Federación Europea de Polímeros (EPF) celebrada en la ciudad italiana de Pisa del 16 al 21 de junio de 2013. East Aurora, NY, USA, 26 de junio de 2013 – El Grupo Industrial de Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A y MOG.B) ha suministrado un innovador sistema de ensayo para depósitos de combustible a Fiat Group Automobiles (FGA). El sistema, diseñado para hacer pruebas funcionales dinámicas con depósitos de combustible automovilísticos, tiene la capacidad de simular condiciones de carretera reales. Para ello se somete a distintas pruebas y se evalúa el comportamiento del combustible líquido y de los componentes del depósito. Con los resultados de los ensayos, FGA podrá optimizar las configuraciones deseadas y verificar el diseño de cada sistema de depósito concreto.

Belden presents new OBR40 optical bypass relay from its Hirschmann Brand
Neckartenzlingen, Germany - June 25, 2013 - Belden Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, has launched the new OBR40 optical bypass relay from its Hirschmann product range. Suitable for use even in harsh environmental conditions, this relay ensures that optical Ethernet networks, with either ring or line topologies, remain operational after power failures at one or more switches. An internal switch-over mechanism enables data communication to continue seamlessly between neighboring switches. This mechanism even continues to operate when power is cut off to the bypass relay itself. Use of this relay serves to further enhance the availability of Ethernet networks. The relay can also be used to deactivate specific parts of a system, when maintenance work needs to be carried out on individual turbines of a wind farm, for example.
