Clariant Signs Cooperation Agreement to Implement SNG Plant and Catalysts in China
Muttenz, June 13, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, today announced that it has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Wison Engineering Ltd and a subsidiary in Foster Wheeler's Global Engineering and Construction Group, to equip a pilot plant for demonstration of Foster Wheeler's VESTA substitute natural gas (SNG) technology with catalysts of Clariant. The pilot plant will be constructed in China and is planned to go on-stream during 2013.

SITTARD, Países Bajos, 11 de junio de 2013 - Las empresas de la cadena de envasado de alimentos que usan poliolefinas (polietilenos y polipropilenos) ya tienen acceso a las nuevas declaraciones de conformidad y seguridad alimentaria de SABIC. SABIC es uno de los primeros productores de plásticos del sector alimentario de Europa que ha actualizado todas las declaraciones sobre contacto con los alimentos, en línea con los cambios de normativas de la Unión Europea, con tres años de antelación respecto a la fecha límite requerida del 2016. Estos cambios están destinados a aumentar la seguridad de los alimentos envasados. Ha sido preciso que SABIC volviera a analizar todas las poliolefinas destinadas a envases alimentarios a fin de garantizar que cumplen las nuevas condiciones de las pruebas.
