Clariant to Exhibit Controlled Atmosphere Solutions and Compliant Colorants and Additives at Pharmapack

ClariantMuttenz, January 23, 2013 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, represented by its Masterbatches Business Unit with business segments Healthcare Packaging and Medical Masterbatches will exhibit at Pharmapack Europe 2013 in Paris on Feb. 13-14 at Stand 332 and 333 respectively. Healthcare Packaging will display its full line of controlled atmosphere packaging solutions, ranging from drop-in desiccants to container closure systems, which can help protect pharmaceuticals from damaging moisture and oxygen. Masterbatches will present MEVOPUR® colorants and additives for improving aesthetics, processing and functionality in medical device applications. In addition, Valère Logel, Product Development Manager, will present “Your drug environment under control” on Thursday, Feb. 14. The presentation will discuss possibilities of control of the pharmaceutical packaging micro-environment to extend shelf life and enhance stability of sensitive drugs.

Lumflex STL 500 es un cable de control de cuatro polos homologado UL y con una resistencia a la torsión de +/- 720° por metro. También es retardante de llama y resistente a los lubricantes, los ácidos, los álcalis y la radiación UV, así como a las chispas de soldadura. Su gama de temperaturas de servicio va de -45 °C a +80 °C. Este cable de control está disponible en tambores de 100 y 500 m y con conectores moldeados M8 y M12 de clase IP67 (rectos o en ángulo, con o sin cableado). Las versiones con conectores moldeados en un extremo están disponibles en longitudes de 2, 5, 10, 15 y 20 m, y las que llevan conectores moldeados en ambos extremos están disponibles en las combinaciones M8/M8 y M12/M12 y en las longitudes estándar de 0,3, 0,6, 1, 1,5, 2 y 5 m. This switch, which is available with 8, 16 or 24 Fast Ethernet ports (10/100 BASE TX), has been especially developed for use in trains. It fulfills all the specific EMC and fire prevention requirements for rail vehicles and also has numerous redundancy mechanisms plus two uplink ports with bypass relays. This means that connections between neighboring switches are maintained even when an OCTOPUS fails.
