SABIC amplía su renombrada cartera de policarbonato Lexan* con nuevos materiales de alta calidad para electrónica de consumo, electrodomésticos e iluminación LED
ORLANDO, Florida (USA) – 03 de abril de 2012 – Desde la feria NPE 2012, en el stand n.º 29000, la unidad de negocio Innovative Plastics de SABIC ha anunciado hoy importantes nuevas adiciones a su emblemática cartera de materiales de policarbonato (PC) Lexan* de altas prestaciones: el copolímero Lexan CFR (ignífugo transparente) y tres nuevas calidades de la resina Lexan LUX. El copolímero Lexan CFR da respuesta a las crecientes demandas de los fabricantes de productos de electrónica de consumo y electrodomésticos de un material ignífugo, transparente y sostenible, mientras que las nuevas resinas Lexan LUX ofrecen una excelente solución para las aplicaciones de diodos electroluminiscentes (LED), tales como guías luminosas y lentes. Estos nuevos materiales de PC Lexan dejan patentes las continuas inversiones de SABIC en tecnologías a nivel mundial, conocimientos técnicos y amplitud de sus cartera de productos. Phostech Lithium Plant Officially Opens

Candiac, Québec (Canada), April 2, 2012 - Representatives from Clariant and Süd-Chemie, as well as Canadian and Québec government officials, today celebrated the official opening of a new battery materials manufacturing plant at Phostech Lithium Inc, a Clariant group company. The plant produces carbon coated lithium iron phosphate (C-LiFePO4) a high performance energy storage material used in batteries for electric vehicle drives, stationary energy storage and other applications. The facility will create more than 50 new jobs, helping to contributing to stimulate the regional economy.
