Azelis to distribute Merck cosmetic raw materials in Northern Europe
Merck KGaA and Azelis have entered into a distribution agreement for cosmetic raw materials from Merck. According to the agreement, Merck will grant the marketing rights for its cosmetic raw materials in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway to Azelis, a leading European distributor of specialty chemicals. Apart from logistics, Azelis will be responsible for local customer support and applications technology. In turn, Merck will support Azelis with research and development, training and in regulatory issues. The cooperation agreement was signed in December 2011 and has already taken effect.

New, vegetal-based biopolymers from Clariant
Muttenz, February 22, 2012 - At the upcoming in-cosmetics show in Barcelona, Clariant will present three new lines of biopolymers for skin and hair care under the theme “Touch of Nature”. The company also announces that it has achieved Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification, according to ISO 22716, for its global cosmetics manufacturing.

Puntos de acceso y clientes WLAN personalizados
La nueva gama de Belden OpenBAT de Hirschmann™ es el primer sistema modular que permite configurar vía internet puntos de acceso y clientes WLAN estándar en el sector. Esta gama, que engloba las series BAT-R (IP20) y BAT-F (IP67), es conforme a la norma de transmisiones IEEE 802.11n, que facilita velocidades de transferencia de datos de hasta 450 Mbps tanto en la banda de 5 GHz como en la de 2,4 GHz. Ambas series están basadas en hardware completamente nuevo y tienen además un potente sistema operativo HiLCOS con numerosas funciones de gestión, seguridad y calidad de servicio, más enrutamiento IP de capa 3. El número de módulos inalámbricos y puertos Ethernet LAN se puede configurar individualmente, al igual que el concepto de entrega de potencia. Lo dicho es aplicable también a la docena larga de certificados que homologan a estos puntos de acceso y clientes para su uso en, por ejemplo, el sector eléctrico, el sector de gas y petróleo o el transporte por ferrocarril. Se pueden utilizar para configurar redes de infraestructuras y redes malladas rápidas y estables, más sistemas de distribución inalámbricos (WDS, por sus siglas en inglés) o conexiones punto a punto. Con estos dispositivos OpenBAT se pueden configurar varios miles de diseños diferentes. Esta gama, cuyo lanzamiento se prevé que tenga lugar en la primavera de 2012, abre por lo tanto la puerta a las soluciones personalizadas con una óptima relación prestaciones/precio.

AVERY DENNISON APRESENTA NOVOS MATERIAIS PARA PRODUTOS “LINHA BRANCA” E ELETRÔNICOS
Vinhedo, Fevereiro 2012 – A Avery Dennison (NYSE:AVY) incorporou ao seu portfólio dois novos materiais. O primeiro é uma nova linha de filmes removíveis que contam com o adesivo R0150, especialmente projetado para aplicação em produtos linha branca. Sua principal particularidade é poder ser removido sem deixar resíduos nem marcas nas superfícies, inclusive nas plásticas. A tecnologia foi incorporada aos filmes de PVC e BOPP (polipropileno biorientado) que apresentam alta resistência a diferentes temperaturas, mudanças climáticas e raios UV, além de possuírem excelentes propriedades de cobertura por tintas.
