CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 4 de octubre de 2011 - Desde el Plastimagen México 2011, la unidad de negocios estratégica Innovative Plastics de SABIC ha anunciado una primicia en el sector: los nuevos moldes para hormigón de una pieza, reutilizables y fabricados con el compuesto reforzado con fibra de vidrio larga de altas prestaciones LNP* Verton* de la compañía. Los nuevos moldes del compuesto resistente a la corrosión han sido desarrollados por SABIC y Meccano de México, una de las compañías proveedoras del sector de la construcción más importantes del país, con el objetivo de reemplazar los pesados y tradicionales moldes de acero de varias piezas, lo cual reduce el peso hasta un 40 por ciento, acorta los tiempos de ciclo de tres horas a solo unos minutos y ayuda a disminuir los costes de construcción en general para obtener viviendas a precios más atractivos. El anuncio de hoy representa un hito en la industria de la edificación y construcción tanto para Meccano como para SABIC, y demuestra el compromiso de SABIC de trabajar en conjunto con sus clientes para ayudarles a alcanzar el éxito empresarial.
