La fibra de PEI Ultem* de SABIC Innovative Plastics debuta en la nueva línea de indumentaria de trabajo de Japan Wool Textile Company, aunando confort y protección
BERGEN OP ZOOM, Países Bajos – 30 de junio de 2011 – SABIC Innovative Plastics ha anunciado hoy que su fibra de polieterimida (PEI) Ultem*, versátil y de altas prestaciones, ha encontrado una nueva e importante aplicación en la indumentaria de trabajo y las prendas de protección de alta gama. Japan Wool Textile Company, una división de NIKKE Group, ha optado por mezclar la fibra Ultem con lana y otros materiales para producir hilos, tejidos y prendas de vestir que ofrecen una combinación única de confort y protección, además de unas propiedades ignífugas permanentes sin necesidad de contener halógenos y una excelente resistencia frente a la radiación ultravioleta (UV). A diferencia de los materiales tradicionales de aramida, la fibra Ultem se puede colorear de forma fácil y económica en una amplia gama de matices mediante procesos convencionales de teñido de poliéster, lo que permite a Japan Wool Textile Company mejorar las características estéticas de su nueva línea. MOOG SUPPLIES TEST SYSTEM FOR FULL-SCALE AIRCRAFT TESTS TO AIRCRAFT STRENGTH RESEARCH INSTITUTE (ASRI) OF CHINA
East Aurora, NY, USA, 22 June 2011 – Moog Industrial Group, a division of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) and a provider of leading-edge solutions and products for the test industry, announced today that it has successfully delivered an aerospace test system to the Aircraft Strength Research Institute (ASRI) of China for full-scale aircraft tests. The order included a 192-channel control system and a 4096-channel data acquisition system. This order is ASRI’s largest test facility expansion project in the past five years, as well as Moog’s largest win in the Chinese aerospace test market.
