One of these is the Hirschmann™ HiLCOS 8.50 WLAN firmware. Installable on all access points and clients of the BAT series, this is currently the only firmware on the market that supports fully-integrable and easy-to-manage WLAN networks in both Profinet and EtherNet/IP networks. Further highlights include BAT300 access points that support the IEEE802.11n (300MBit/s) standard and BAT WLAN controllers that allow simple operation of up to 100 access points. Also on dislay will be a large range of antennas, including models that support MIMO technology (multiple input, multiple output). Another highlight is the Industrial HiVision suite of network management software, which can now also integrate WLAN components.
