Solutia and Employees Donate Over RMB 295,000 to Assist in Earthquake Relief Efforts
SHANGHAI (May 30, 2008) – Solutia Inc. (NYSE: SOA), today announced that its Chinese subsidiaries as well as employees from several Solutia sites are donating more than RMB 295,000 to aid relief efforts for victims of the 8.0 magnitude earthquake that struck the Sichuan province of Central China on May 12, 2008.

Los nuevos compuestos ultrapuros Stat-Loy* de SABIC Innovative Plastics ofrecen una excelente solución plástica
BERGEN OP ZOOM, Países Bajos – 29 de mayo de 2008 – Debido a la creciente demanda de los consumidores por aumentar la potencia y la funcionalidad en los artículos electrónicos, la industria de los semiconductores se esfuerza en proporcionar mayor funcionalidad a los circuitos integrados o "chips" ya existentes. La fabricación de chips de nueva generación consiste en un proceso fotolitográfico basado en tecnología láser de fluoruro de argón (ArF). No obstante, la adopción de láseres de ArF se retrasó debido a la falta de plásticos que fueran lo suficientemente limpios como para ser utilizados en contenedores de protección (fotomáscaras y retículos) durante el proceso de fabricación de circuitos integrados. A fin de abordar este reto y de responder a las necesidades del cliente, el equipo de compuestos especializados LNP* de SABIC Innovative Plastics ha desarrollado la serie de compuestos transparentes ultrapuros (UPT) Stat-Loy* 63000CT. Los compuestos Stat-Loy UPT, empleados en dispositivos de protección de obleas, pueden evitar daños producidos por la liberación de gases que pueden contaminar las obleas, incrementar las devoluciones y aumentar los costes.

Moog Donates to the Victims of May 12th Sichuan Earthquake
