La Aseguradora alemana Alte Leipziger ahorra 1 millón de euros y adquiere nuevas ventajas competitivas con los Servicios de gestión de accidentes de Nobilas
Frankfurt (Alemania) – noviembre de 2007 - Nobilas Claims & Fleet Solutions, el especialista en gestión de accidentes, ha anunciado recientemente que la aseguradora alemana Alte Leipziger ha conseguido importantes ahorros de costes (un 11% de media) y otros beneficios con el servicio de Nobilas. Un estudio de los resultados de Alte Leipziger realizado por el Instituto de Economía del Seguro de la Universidad de St. Gallen en Suiza, ha revelado un ahorro general del 20% en costes anuales en la reparación de vehículos. Del mismo modo los servicios de gestión de accidentes proporcionan una ventaja competitiva para los clientes; un tercio de todos los titulares de pólizas de Alte Leipziger eligen los servicios de valor añadido de Nobilas, como recogida y entrega del vehículo y vehículos de sustitución.

European Court of Justice ruling may open up further cross-border mail opportunities for Spring Global Mail
Amsterdam, 22 November 2007 – On 15 November 2007, the European Court of Justice issued a ruling about the interpretation of the EU regulation that allows Posts to keep international mail under their monopoly. If this ruling is taken over by the Spanish Supreme Court, this will open up further opportunities for Spring Global Mail and other postal service providers in cross border mail services throughout Europe.

FIRST VLCC VESSEL TO USE MOORING ROPES MADE WITH ULTRA-STRONG DYNEEMA® FIBER
URMOND (NL), 22 November 2007 - DSM Dyneema, maker of ultra-strong, lightweight Dyneema® polyethylene fiber, today announced that COSCO Dalian, a subsidiary of China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company, has selected mooring lines made with Dyneema® fiber for its newest Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC), the Cospearl Lake. Following a successful eight-month sea trial on its Cosmerry Lake VLCC, COSCO Dalian found that, in comparison with steel wire mooring lines, ropes made with Dyneema® enabled a reduction in mooring time and significantly improved crew safety. DSM Dyneema worked closely with COSCO Dalian during the sea trial to document performance of the new ropes.
