SABIC Innovative Plastics avanza en la tecnología de panel solar con un nuevo Centro de Excelencia dedicado a la energía
Düsseldorf (Alemania) – 24 de octubre de 2007 – Como parte de su programa progresivo de inversión en el desarrollo de mercados y aplicaciones nuevas, SABIC Innovative Plastics ha anunciado hoy la creación de un nuevo Centro de Excelencia dedicado a la Energía en su sede central europea de Bergen op Zoom (Países Bajos). La finalidad de las nuevas instalaciones, que son una ampliación del Centro de Excelencia de Ingeniería de Fluidos que ya tenía la empresa y forman parte de su organización «Tecnología de Aplicaciones Globales» (GapT), es ayudar a los clientes a utilizar termoplásticos ligeros de alto rendimiento para sustituir materiales como el cobre, el aluminio, el acero y el vidrio, más pesados y cada vez más caros, en los paneles solares térmicos y fotovoltaicos. El centro está equipado con el más avanzado material para diseño, moldeo y ensayos y en él trabajan ingenieros, científicos de materiales y expertos en el desarrollo de aplicaciones, todo ello para ayudar a los clientes a aprovechar lo último en las tecnologías avanzadas de termoplásticos para la producción en serie de paneles solares. La meta de SABIC Innovative Plastics es ser uno de los principales contribuidores de la conversión de la energía solar para calefacción y electricidad en una opción real y permanentemente más asequible.

Rapid Granulator AB establishes representative office for the Middle East

Rapid presents latest series in ‘Open Hearted’ concept at K 2007
Bredaryd, Sweden - Rapid Granulator AB presents its new 600 Series of ‘open-hearted’ granulators at K 2007. Thanks to its modular design with various cutter house, rotor, hopper configurations, the series can be tailored for injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion and recycling applications. The Rapid 600 comes in three models, with 900, 1200 and 1500 mm processing width respectively and can handle capacities of up to 2,500 kg/h.
