DSM DYNEEMA AWARDED CONTRACT TO PROVIDE HIGH END ARMOR PROTECTION FOR US MILITARY COMBAT VEHICLES
Urmond (NL), October 5, 2007 - DSM Dyneema today announced that Composix Co., a leading US manufacturer of vehicle armor, has selected its product Dyneema® HB26 to fulfill an order from a major US Department of Defense contractor for a high-end armor system. Dyneema® HB26 unidirectional (UD) bullet-resistant composite offers a unique combination of light weight for enhanced vehicle mobility, maneuverability, and excellent ballistic performance versus new, and emerging unconventional threats such as IEDs and EFPs. Composix will produce hard ballistic armor panels with Dyneema® for about 1000 vehicles.

Frankfurt, Alemania – noviembre de 2007 – Los resultados de la investigación llevada a cabo por la Universidad de St. Gallen, demuestran las ventajas clave de un programa de gestión de accidentes como el que realiza Nobilas. El Instituto de Economía del Seguro de la Universidad de St. Gallen en Suiza, ha realizado un sondeo con cinco de las aseguradoras más importantes para analizar el valor de subcontratar el proceso de reparación de vehículos. La investigación también ha incluido un estudio en profundidad de Alte Leipziger, una aseguradora alemana que utiliza el servicio de gestión de accidentes de Nobilas.

EMG expands in China with opening of Beijing Office
