Borouge and Borealis introduce innovative plastic solutions for automotive applications
Borouge and Borealis are introducing two high performance plastic solutions specially tailored for the automotive industry. The first is Daplen™ ED230HP, a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), that Borealis developed jointly with Plastic Omnium, while the second, Nepol™ GB215HP, is a new grade of polypropylene developed with the BMW Group.

Borouge awards approximately USD 1.3 billion Borouge 2 Cracker (EU2) Contract to Linde Engineering
Borouge, the leading provider of innovative plastic solutions, today announced that it has awarded the contract to build its new ethylene cracker to Linde Engineering. The cracker will have a capacity of approximately 1.5 million tonnes per annum and is considered to be the largest gas cracker in the world.

STANYL® PA46 DE DSM SUBSTITUYE EL METAL EN COMBINACIONES CAUCHO – METAL CON MAYOR LIBERTAD DE DISEÑO Y MENOR COSTE
Sittard, The Netherlands, 5 decembre, 2006 – Stanyl® poliamida 4,6 (PA46) de DSM Engineering Plastics está incrementando su uso como substitutivo del metal en combinaciones que tradicionalmente eran metal - caucho. Se obtiene mayor libertad de diseño y reducción en costes de producción al usar Stanyl como componente rígido en aplicaciones como anclaje de bieletas en automoción, montajes electromecánicos, antivibración y antichoque, componentes para absorción de energía y suspensión de tubos de escape.
