Borouge awards approximately USD 1.3 billion Borouge 2 Cracker (EU2) Contract to Linde Engineering
Borouge, the leading provider of innovative plastic solutions, today announced that it has awarded the contract to build its new ethylene cracker to Linde Engineering. The cracker will have a capacity of approximately 1.5 million tonnes per annum and is considered to be the largest gas cracker in the world.

La nueva película Ultem* 5000B de GE constituye una opción rentable de altas prestaciones para la gama de aplicaciones en aparatos eléctricos/electrónicos
BERGEN OP ZOOM, PAÍSES BAJOS — 20 de noviembre de 2006 — Ya está aquí la solución para fabricantes de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos (E/E) que hayan tenido que enfrentarse al dilema de elegir entre el elevado coste de especificar una poliamida (PI) para alcanzar las prestaciones deseadas y reducir la categoría de una aplicación mediante el uso de naftalato de polietileno (PEN) o poliéster (PET). La nueva película Ultem* 5000B de GE Plastics ofrece excelentes prestaciones y rentabilidad a la vez. Se trata de un material basado en la resina de polieterimida (PEI) Ultem de GE. Su elevada resistencia a las altas temperaturas y las llamas, su baja absorción de la humedad y sus excelentes propiedades dieléctricas lo convierten en un excelente candidato para diversas aplicaciones en aparatos E/E, como cintas y laminados aislantes, diafragmas y bobinas de altavoces, etiquetas de código de barras de alta temperatura y resistencias planas flexibles. La película Ultem 5000B está disponible en negro y ámbar, y en tamaños de 25 mm a 750 mm.
