LA TAPA DE LA CARCASA DE LA LINEA BOCARD DE BOPLA OFRECE TRANSPARENCIA Y RESISTENCIA GRACIAS AL XANTAR® DE DSM
BOPLA Gehäuse systeme GmbH (Bünde, Alemania) ha escogido el policarbonato Xantar® de DSM Engineering Plastics para las tapas transparentes de su línea Bocard de carcasas de plástico para equipos electrónicos. Los paneles transparentes de las tapas están fabricados con Xantar 22 R 01001. La tapa cumple las especificaciones IEC529IP65, es hermética al polvo y minimiza la entrada de humedad y de lluvia, gracias en parte a la excelente estabilidad dimensional de la resina. Además, la transparencia a largo plazo del Xantar permite un control visual del equipo alli alojado mientras que la resistencia al impacto ayuda a evitar la rotura y la incursión de objetos. EL Xantar tiene la clasificación UL94 V2 a 1.5 mm de espesor y el grado 22 R 01001 proporciona buena fluidez y excelente desmoldeo para facilitar la producción.

NatureWorks LLC announces management change: Kathleen Bader retires, Dennis McGrew named new president and CEO
Dennis McGrew will become the new president and chief executive officer of NatureWorks LLC, a wholly owned business unit of Cargill, effective Jan. 20, 2006. NatureWorks is the first company to offer a family of commercially available polymers derived from 100 percent annually renewable resources. McGrew replaces Kathleen Bader, president, CEO and chairman of the business unit from 2004 to 2006, who has announced her retirement as part of a planned management transition.

Synventive personaliza un complejo sistema de canal caliente para el moldeo por inyec-ción a baja presión de palets de plástico
‘s GRAVENDEEL, HOLANDA – 20 enero, 2006 – Synventive Molding Solutions, una de las mayo-res empresas del mundo en diseño, fabricación y suministro de sistemas de canal caliente y compo-nentes afines para la industria del moldeo por inyección, ha desarrollado un sistema de canal calien-te personalizado para AVK Plastics con el fin de poder fabricar paleta de plástico de gran tamaño con máquinas de moldeo por inyección a baja presión. Synventive presentará esta tecnología junto con su gama de sistemas, de canal caliente, con capaci-dad de inyectar de tan sólo 0,1 g, además de una nueva gama de sistemas, de canal caliente, para moldes multicavidades, en Plast 2006, Milán, Italia, en el pabellón 9, stand A36, del 14 al 18 de febrero.
