GE Focuses Resources on Its CYCOLAC* and GELOY* Resins Business for Improved Customer Satisfaction and Growth
BERGEN OP ZOOM, THE NETHERLANDS — GE Advanced Materials, a unit of GE (NYSE: GE), announced today that it has refocused resources on its CYCOLAC* and GELOY* resins business under the leadership of Charlie Crew, vice president and general manager. The move will help GE drive new growth opportunities for the company’s CYCOLAC and GELOY resin lines. It will also enable GE to focus resources to better serve customers of its popular acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and acrylic-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA) products. Crew will report to John Krenicki, president and chief executive officer, GE Advanced Materials.

Owens Corning and RheTech Sign Agreement for Making
Novi, Mich., February 9, 2005 – To meet demand in the fastest growing segment of the worldwide composites market, Owens Corning and RheTech, Inc., today announced a licensing agreement under which RheTech will manufacture and sell in North America a proprietary long-fiber glass/polyolefin thermoplastic (LFTP) developed by Owens Corning. RheTech intends to market these new products under the RHEMAX trade name.

Strategies in China March 15th conference programme finalised

Esta es la tercera fase del complejo de GE Advanced Materials, Plastics y representa una inversión de 600 millones de euros. Asimismo, durante el acto inaugural se anunció que está prevista la construcción de una cuarta fase, la planta de resinas Ultem* de GE.

Husky Injection Molding Systems ltd. announces next President & CEO
Toronto, Ontario – Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. (TSX: HKY) today announced that its Board of Directors has selected John Galt to be Robert Schad’s successor as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a position Mr. Schad has held since founding Husky in 1953. Mr. Galt is currently Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer (COO). The naming of Mr. Galt as successor follows Mr. Schad’s recent announcement of his intention to retire as President and CEO within the year. After succession, Mr. Schad will continue serving the company as a director and advisor on technology development and strategy. It is expected that Mr. Galt’s appointment will be made later this year.

GLCC LAUREL INCREASES ANTIMONY TRIOXIDE AND ANTIMONY DERIVATIVE PRICES
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA—GLCC Laurel, LLC today announced that it will increase prices worldwide by up to 20% for all grades of antimony trioxide, effective for shipments beginning February 1, 2005, or as contracts allow. The price for other antimony derivatives will also increase dependent upon antimony content.
