DSM Engineering Plastics anuncia la disponibilidad de un nuevo grado de Stanyl®, poliamida 46 de gran fluidez, para piezas de motores de aviones a reacción. Se trata de un compuesto reforzado con un 30% de fibra de vidrio destinado inicialmente a la etapa de admisión del motor Rolls-RoyceTrent 900. Este motor tiene 50 paneles de intrincada geometría que junto con la compleja sección del conducto reducen el ruido y el impacto ambiental. Just Cavalli: Glass Polymer™ helps create high tech perfume packaging
G. Candiani of Italy has selected The Glass Polymer™ from Eastman Chemical Company to help produce the bottle for Just Cavalli, a new Roberto Cavalli fragrance. The transparent bottle is made up from different fully integrated parts: a glass core, a resin shoulder and a protective housing made from Eastar® AN014 copolyester.
