Lyon, France, April 19, 2004 – Rhodia Engineering Plastics has developed a range of hybrid solutions that combine metals and engineering plastics to be used in high-load bearing (semi-) structural components. BERGEN OP ZOOM, Holanda — Una gama de nuevos grados de materiales conectores para altas temperaturas presentados hoy por LNP Engineering Plastics han sido especialmente diseñados para resistir los desafíos térmicos de la soldadura por reflujo de infrarrojos (IR). Estos materiales ofrecen las características de contracción de algunos poliésteres termoplásticos muy utilizados para la sustitución directa y están formulados con un paquete sin halógenos y retardante de llama que se puede utilizar en aplicaciones de ecoetiquetado. Rhodia Engineering Plastics launches two new Technyl® polyamide grades for Water Injection Technology (WIT) to address evolving customer demands
Detroit, MI, Mar. 8, 2004 – Rhodia Engineering Plastics today introduced two new Technyl® polyamide grades specifically designed for water injected cooling pipes: TECHNYL® A338 Wit1 V30 bk34N and TECHNYL® A338 Wit2 V30 bk34N. This major product introduction follows three years of dedicated research and process development work, including the development of Rhodia’s own WIT mold, water injectors and injection unit. The challenge of the Rhodia WIT development team was to find an optimal balance between water injection processability and glycol resistance in an application context where specific material properties are required to fit to the technology, while cooling circuit specifications are increasing.
