Clariant Climate Campaign winner GNFC cuts 44,000 tons/month CO2e emissions with EnviCat N2O removal catalyst
Clariant, a sustainability-focused specialty chemical company, today announced remarkable results from its Climate Campaign for nitrous oxide abatement at Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited's (GNFC) facility in Gujarat, India. The installation of Clariant's EnviCat N2O-S catalyst has shown outstanding performance since October 2024, with monitoring data demonstrating significant reduction in N2O emissions equivalent to 44,000 t/month CO2eq.

IUFRO und Mondi verlängern TEAMING UP 4 FORESTS, die Science-Business-Plattform für die Zukunft der Holzversorgung
Am Internationalen Tag des Waldes 2025 geben die International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) und Mondi, ein globales Papier- und Verpackungsunternehmen, die Verlängerung der Science-Business Plattform "TEAMING UP 4 FORESTS" bekannt. Seit dem Start in 2021 hat TEAMING UP 4 FORESTS ein Netzwerk von über 100 Wissenschaftlerinnen, Unternehmensvertreterinnen, Waldbesitzerinnen und politischen Entscheidungsträgerinnen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette Wald und Holz aufgebaut. In einem gemeinsamen Dialog werden Lösungen für die wichtigsten Herausforderungen einer nachhaltigen Holzbeschaffung erarbeitet, um auch zukünftig die Nachfrage der Gesellschaft decken zu können.

SABIC will exhibit at OFC 2025 specialty materials that empower robust data infrastructures
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, will exhibit at the 2025 Optical Fiber Communications (OFC) Conference and Exhibition, in Booth #6244. At the event, the company will highlight high-performance materials, including ULTEM™ and SILTEM™ resins and LNP™ ELCRES™ polycarbonate copolymers, which can help customers build robust and reliable data infrastructures. SABIC will also introduce a new EXTEM™ RH resin grade that withstands 260°C reflow soldering and whose enhanced properties support high-volume production of multi-lens arrays (MLAs) for optical interconnect assemblies and sub-assemblies. Two EXTEM resin demonstrators will be featured: a single-mode expanded beam connector assembly; and a novel process using metallization to auto-align MLAs.
