Mondi, ein weltweit führendes Verpackungs- und Papierunternehmen, hat mit Silbo zusammengearbeitet, um dessen Palettenverpackung von Kunststoff-Stretchfolie auf Mondis Kraftpapier Advantage StretchWrap umzustellen. Silbo hat die erste PaperWrap-Maschine von EW Technology in seinem Werk in Żory, Polen, installiert und bietet seinem breiten Kundenkreis, darunter auch Obst- und Gemüselieferanten, nachhaltigere flexible Verpackungen.

SABIC and Solarge showcase development and commercialization of lightweight, circular solar panels
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, has participated in the successful development of lightweight, circular photovoltaic (PV) panels in conjunction with Solarge, an innovative manufacturer of circular lightweight solar panels. This collaboration was showcased during the opening event of Solarge’s new production facility in Weert, The Netherlands on 22nd May. Representatives from SABIC and Solarge, along with other industry leaders, attended the ceremony that was also attended by Rob Jetten, Dutch Minister for Climate & Energy, and Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy.

Solvay bringt neues KetaSpire® PEEK für einschichtige Magnetdrahtisolierung von E-Motoren auf den Markt
Solvay, ein globaler Marktführer im Bereich Spezialmaterialien, hat die Markteinführung von KetaSpire® KT-857 bekannt gegeben, einem neuen Polyetheretherketon (PEEK) Extrusionscompounds, das speziell für die Isolierung von Kupfermagnetdrähten in Elektromotoren entwickelt wurde. Die Entwicklung dieses maßgeschneiderten Isolationsmaterials wurde durch die Entwicklung von OEMs hin zu Batterien mit höherer Dichte und elektrischen Antriebssträngen mit einer Spannung von 800 V oder mehr vorangetrieben, um die Reichweitenangst der Verbraucher zu bekämpfen.
