SABIC erwirbt Mehrheit an Carbon-Nanoröhren-Geschäft für Energiespeicheranwendungen
BERGEN OP ZOOM, NIEDERLANDE, 16. Januar 2019 - SABIC hat heute die Übernahme einer Mehrheitsbeteiligung an Black Diamond Structures (BDS) bekanntgegeben, einem 2014 gegründeten Nanotechnologie-Unternehmen. BDS fertigt und vermarktet MOLECULAR REBAR®, eine patentrechtlich geschützte Technologie modifizierter Kohlenstoff-Nanoröhren (Carbon Nanotubes, CNT), die ein hohes Potenzial zur Leistungssteigerung von Energiespeicheranwendungen mit Bleisäure- und Lithium-Ionen-Batterien bieten.
