Omron demonstrates commitment to Industry 4.0
As part of its i-Automation strategy in the Nordic region, Omron is opening a new Nordic Automation Center (NAC) in Malmö, Sweden, and will be attending the Hi Tech & Industry Scandinavia Fair in Herning, Denmark. This follows on from the move to larger offices one year ago, and the opening a Nordic robotic test centre.

White Tale Holdings increased stake above 15 percent

This follows earlier mandatory notifications by White Tale Holdings to the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX) regarding their holdings.

Clariant reconfirms its full commitment to the planned merger of equals between Huntsman and Clariant and reiterates its strong strategic rationale
Muttenz, September 19, 2017 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, confirms that its Board has received a letter from White Tale Holdings, the Cayman Island-based vehicle created by hedge funds Corvex and 40 North. According to the letter, White Tale has increased its stake in Clariant above 15 percent. In addition, White Tale has stated that it maintains its opposition to the merger of equals between Huntsman and Clariant.

Toyota verwendet im aktuellen Hybrid-Modell „Prius PHV“ Leichtbau Wabenkerne basierend auf EconCore´s ThermHex Technologie
Der japanische Automobilhersteller Toyota verwendet in einem der Innenbauteile seines neuesten Hybrid-Modells Prius PHV einzigartiges Wabenmaterial. Das Material, basierend auf der von EconCore entwickelten ThermHex Technologie für thermoplastische Wabenkerne, wird im Fahrzeug als Kofferraumabdeckung verwendet. EconCore verdankt diese positive Entwicklung seinem japanische Lizenznehmer Gifu Plastic Industry Co. Aufgrund der Kombination von Stärke und Robustheit und optimierter Materialeigenschaften, konnte der Einsatz der ultra-leichten Waben als Kernmaterial, im Vergleich zu konventionellen und bisher verwendeten Materialien wie Karton oder Metall, im Inneren der Kofferraumabdeckung Gewichtseinsparungen von 50% erzielen.
