Führender Automobilzulieferer Maier setzt ABS/PC von ELIX Polymers für die exterior Säulenabdeckung ein
Tarragona, 21. June 2017 – Ein führender Produzent von Innen- und Außenteilen für den Automobilbau hat sich für ein neues ABS/Polycarbonat von ELIX Polymers für die Fertigung von exterior Säulenabdeckungen entschieden. Das Teil wird in einem neuen Premium-Modell eines renommierten deutschen Autoherstellers verbaut werden. Maier S. Coop. in Bizkaia (Spanien) verwendet ELIX Ultra HH4115HI in einem Zwei-Komponenten-Teil, das dem Werkstoff ABS/PC mit einem Polymethyl-methacrylat (PMMA) verbindet.

Potter & Brumfield Relais der Baureihe T9G von TE Connectivity; kleinstes Relais seiner Klasse
HARRISBURG, PA, USA – 20. Juni 2017 – TE Connectivity (TE), ein weltweit führender Anbieter von Verbindungstechnologie- und Sensorlösungen, hat die neue Relaisbaureihe Potter & Brumfield T9G eingeführt. Das 30A-Leiterplatten-Leistungsrelais ist für den Einsatz in Heizungs- und Klimaanlagen, Haushaltsgeräten und Industriesteuerungen geeignet. Die Relaisbaureihe Potter & Brumfield T9G von TE ist das kleinste Relais seiner Klasse. Bei einer um 30 Prozent kleineren Paketgröße und 13 Prozent weniger Platzbedarf auf der Leiterplatte hält das Relais alle Standardformate ein. So können Hersteller weitere Komponenten auf Leiterplatten hinzufügen, ohne Kompromisse hinsichtlich der Relaisleistung eingehen zu müssen.

Henkel and PSA tackle production issues with internet-connected ‘smart’ glasses
Düsseldorf, Germany – Henkel and, automobile giant PSA, have worked together on an innovative form of remote assistance. For the first time Henkel experts are enabled to quickly and accurately diagnose problems anywhere in any PSA production operation, without having to step outside their own office. The implementation of the new remote service system will enable PSA & Henkel to increase efficiency and react much more quickly to production glitches. Both companies will share the podium at Surcar 2017, the international meeting on automotive body finishing taking place in Cannes, France, on June 29-30.

Clariant to Increase Prices for Geko® and Ecosil® in Europe
Munich, June 16, 2017 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals has announced today a price increase in Europe for its Geko foundry green sand binders by 3% and for its Ecosil foundry lustrous carbon formers by 5 %, effective July 1st 2017 or as soon as contracts allow. The price increase is due to rising costs of certain raw materials and manufacturing.
