Clariant nimmt neue Anlage für Polypropylenkatalysatoren in Louisville, USA, in Betrieb
Muttenz, 18. Oktober 2016 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemieunternehmen, hat heute die offizielle Eröffnung seiner neuen Produktionseinrichtung für Polypropylen (PP)-Katalysatoren in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, bekanntgegeben. Das neue Werk wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit CB&I entwickelt und realisiert und macht den Standort Louisville zu Clariants grösstem Produktionszentrum für Katalysatoren in den USA. Gleichzeitig ist es eine weitere Investition von Clariant zur Beschleunigung des Wachstums in Nordamerika.

New Senior Appointment in Industrial Business Unit for TE Connectivity

Clariant verleiht CleanTech Award
Muttenz, 13. Oktober 2016 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemieunternehmen, hat gestern im Rahmen des dritten Clariant Chemistry Day herausragende wissenschaftliche Leistungen im Bereich „Nachhaltige Chemie“ mit dem CleanTech Award ausgezeichnet. In diesem Jahr wurde der Award zum ersten Mal in Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität Basel sowie der Schweizer Chemischen Gesellschaft schweizweit ausgelobt. Ausgezeichnet mit dem 1. Preis wurde Luo Jingshan von der École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) für seine Ausführungen zur Generierung von Wasserstoff als zukünftigem Energieträger durch die Aufspaltung von Wasser mittels Sonnenenergie. Britta Fuenfstueck, Mitglied des Executive Committee von Clariant, überreichte den Preis an den strahlenden Sieger: „Die heutigen Preisträger tragen dank ihrer bemerkenswerten innovativen Produkt- und Prozessentwicklungen in hohem Mass dazu bei, die Herausforderungen unserer Gesellschaft zu meistern.“
