Clariant Adds Polyketone Masterbatches, Compounds; Expanding Portfolio of Colors for Engineering Resins
Charlotte, October 3, 2016 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, has announced availability of standard colors for aliphatic polyketone (PK) polymers. The company supplies both finished compounds and concentrated color masterbatches using the resin and is believed to be the first supplier to offer these products in 12 standard colors. Additional standard colors are expected to be added over time and custom colors are available.

September 2016 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemieunternehmen, hat für seine Standorte das „Mass Balance“-Zertifikat (MB) des Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) erhalten. Das Zertifikat bezieht sich auf sämtliche Standorte von Clariant und The Global Amines Company, die Produkte aus palmölbasierten Rohstoffen herstellen. Designers and Plastics Experts Converge at Plasticity Forum London to Address One of the World’s Biggest Challenges – Plastic Waste
HONG KONG — September 29, 2016 — The Plasticity Forum was held Sept. 21 as part of the London Design Festival to help bring the design community into the big discussion on the future of plastic sustainability. The goal was to give them the tools and know-how to become part of the solution in reducing plastics waste. Designers are one of the missing links to solving some of the complex solutions related to materials, designing for recycling, and societal process flow in terms of resource recovery. Those who know the issues will be better able to drive expansion of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the brands and clients they work for should be striving to meet.
