»Clariant konnte trotz der zunehmend schwierigen Wirtschaftslage auch im dritten Quartal 2015 den Geschäftsverlauf erneut verbessern. Wir haben gegenüber dem Vergleichszeitraum im Vorjahr ein Umsatzwachstum von zwei Prozent in Lokalwährungen erzielt sowie eine höhere operative Profitabilität mit einer EBITDA-Marge von 14,7 % erreicht – dies ist vor allem auf die drei wachstumsstärkeren Geschäftsbereiche Care Chemicals, Catalysis und Natural Resources zurückzuführen. Die Ergebnisse des dritten Quartals entsprechen unseren Zielen für das Gesamtjahr 2015«, erklärte CEO Hariolf Kottmann. »Wir sind deshalb zuversichtlich, trotz der anhaltend durchwachsenen Wirtschaftslage insbesondere in den Schwellenmärkten, und angesichts sehr volatiler Währungen, unsere Ziele in Bezug auf Wachstum, Profitabilität und Cashflow für das Jahr zu erreichen.«
