Clariant und Siemens stellen innovative Sour-Gas-Shift Technologie für Kohlekonversionsanlagen vor
Muttenz, 28. Mai 2014 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemieunternehmen, hat heute bekannt gegeben, dass ein Vertrag mit Siemens Fuel Gasification Technology zur gemeinsamen Vermarktung einer neuen, innovativen Technologie zur Wasser-Gas-Shift Reaktion von kohlebasierten Synthesegasen abgeschlossen wurde. Der Vertrag macht Clariant zum exklusiven Zulieferer von Katalysatoren bei Siemens Kohlevergasungsanlagen, die mit integrierter Sour-Gas Shift Technologie (SGS) arbeiten. Während die Zusammenarbeit alle Projekte weltweit abdeckt, wird sich die Kommerzialisierung auf den Bereich China konzentrieren – die Region mit der höchsten Wachstumsrate bei Projekten zur Chemikaliengewinnung aus Kohle.
