DSM's Stanyl ForTii used in exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensors
Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Material Sciences company, says a new generation of automotive exhaust gas recirculation temperature (EGRT) sensors is now being made in its Stanyl® ForTii™ high performance polyamide 4T. Thanks to the very high temperature stability of Stanyl ForTii, costs are being cut in the production of the sensors, without compromising on quality.

Clariant unterzeichnet langfristigen Liefervertrag für Ethylen mit OMV
Muttenz, 18. Juli 2013 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen der Spezialchemie, gab heute die Unterzeichnung eines langfristigen Liefervertrages mit OMV bekannt. Der österreichische Öl- und Gaskonzern wird ab 2015 das Clariant Werk in Gendorf (Deutschland) mit Ethylen versorgen. Mit diesem Lieferabkommen wird der südbayerische Clariant Standort künftig einen Grossteil seines Bedarfs an der Grundchemikalie decken können.

DSM signs distribution agreements for Engineering Plastics B.V. with Nevicolor and Nexeo Solutions to strengthen its presence in Italy
DSM has entered into new agreements with two distributors for its Engineering Plastics portfolio in Italy to improve its coverage across the entire country. The move means that Italian customers (like DSM customers in other European countries) will now have a choice of distributors for their thermoplastics. The agreements with Nevicolor and Nexeo Solutions apply to the full range of DSM's engineering Plastics products.
