GE Power Conversion unterstützt Bahnstrecken-Elektrifizierung zwischen Polen und Deutschland mit dezentralem Umrichterwerk Lohsa für die Deutsche Bahn - DB Energie GmbH
PARIS — 22. Mai 2013 — Die Geschäftseinheit Power Conversion von GE (NYSE: GE) hat mit der DB Energie GmbH, einem Unternehmen der Deutsche Bahn AG, einen Vertrag zur Lieferung einer Umrichterstation für das Umrichterwerk Lohsa unterzeichnet. Die neue Station nutzt moderne, transformatorlose Technik auf der Bahnseite in Kombination mit Direktspeisung des Fahrdrahtes über drei statische Frequenzumrichter. Die GE-Lösung trägt dazu bei, der DB Energie eine höhere Wandlungseffizienz bei niedrigeren Kosten zu erschließen.

DSM partners with ERDA on engineering plastics and application research for the Indian electrical industry
Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, announces that its subsidiary DSM India Pvt. Ltd, in Pune, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ERDA, the Electrical Research & Development Association, covering basic research in the field of electrical applications. ERDA, a cooperative research institution created by the Indian electrical industry and utilities with support from the governments of India and the state of Gujarat, has its main office in Vadodara.

The company is taking vigorous action against several companies that Milliken believes have infringed one or more of Milliken's patents through the sale of competitive 3,4 DMDBS products. In the lawsuits, Milliken will be seeking monetary damages and other appropriate remedies from the suppliers of these competitive 3,4 -DMDBS products.
